Avenza Map Awards Submission

Entering the competition and submitting your maps is easy.

Simply complete the entry form and email your map using the link provided. Maps should be uploaded in Adobe Acrobat pdf format. Please ensure that all fonts have been embedded so that we can view your creation without missing anything. Maps entered in the multimedia category may be submitted in whatever format they reside such as Flash or SVG, etc. Maps submitted for the collection category should be compiled into a single multi-page pdf file or archive file containing all the maps. If you are unable to submit your map as a pdf file or collection of pdf files please upload them in whatever format you can and use the comment filed in the entry form to explain why.

In addition to submitting online we require 2 printed copies of your map(s) to be submitted by mail or courier to:

Entries in the multimedia category may submit their maps on CD-ROM or other media.

When sending maps from outside Canada please do not mark any value on the package. If necessary mark as "sample - no commercial value". Attempted deliveries by post or courier requiring payment of import taxes and/or duties will be refused.

And finally, all academic entrants must provide proof of their academic status as a photocopy of their student or faculty ID or transcript along with their printed map.
