So I recently upgraded to Map Publisher 9.0 and am having this issue with many different files. All of the layers that were once georeferenced are now not, and are all falling under the non-map layers sections? I have tried opening the files in both 32 and 64 bit with no change? I really need these files to still be referenced? Any suggestions?

The problem with these files was found to be that they were created in Illustrator without a MAPublisher plug-in. Since files created in MAPublisher are designed to be forwards compatible only, they will retain all features and attributes when opened in more recent versions. The only reason why layer would not have georeferencing is if they were left that way by design or if by chance they were corrupted. They could also lose this information if the file was shared with another user who edited the file without MAPublisher or perhaps different versions of CS (also forwards compatible only).

In this case getting your data georeferenced for use in MAPublisher would be to use the Georeferencer tool.
