MAP Web Author extension for Adobe Dreamweaver CS4

This experimental extension for Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 inserts a map exported from MAP Web Author directly into a web page without any typing or coding.

Step 1: Download the extension

Step 2: Install the extension

Double-click the Insert_MAPublisher_Web_Map.xmp file to open the extension in the Adobe Extension Manager. Accept the license agreement to finish the install.

Step 3: Export Flash map from MAPublisher

Be sure to remember the folder that the Flash map was exported to. It will be used in Step 5.

Step 4: Open or create new page in Adobe Dreamweaver

The extension supports inserting maps to stand alone pages or pages that are part of a site. It is important to save your document before inserting the Flash map.

Step 5: Insert the Flash map

Select a position on the page to insert the map. Locate the MAPublisher group in the Insert bar and click the insert map button.

Choose the folder that the map was exported to.

Finished!

Save the map and choose the "File > Preview In Browser" menu item to preview the Flash map in an Internet browser.
