MAP Web Author Tutorial
One of the powerful functions of MAP Web Author is the ability to add information to objects (points, lines, and areas). Using MAP Web Author tools, this can be done either individually to each object or it can be done globally using information loaded into MAPublisher from an imported attribute table. This information is used to create interactive Web tags (callout bubbles).
The style and look of the interactive tags can be customized to your preferences. To be more flexible, properties of interactive objects can be individually adjusted after applying a global style to map objects.
When the Flash map is exported, it can be viewed through a Web browser in an interactive manner: mouse-over hovers, callout bubbles, clicking objects, navigating the map, and seeing Web tags populated with attribute information.
