Step 3: Create Web tags (callout bubbles)
- Open the Flash_Canada.ai Adobe Illustrator Document
In Adobe Illustrator, open the MAP Web Author panel.
The MAP Web Author panel can be opened by clicking the MAP Web Author button
on the MAPublisher® toolbar or by choosing Window > MAPublisher > MAP Web Author.
Before using any function in the MAP Web Author tool, the source media folder should be specified. In step 2a, we set the working directory as "MAPWebAuthor_Tutorial". Now specify this directory as the source media folder.
Open the MAP Web Author panel option menu and click Specify Source Media Folder.
Type in the working directory or browse for it. This folder should be called ImageFiles in the tutorial data folder. Choose the Relative Path option and click OK to close the Specify Source Media Folder dialog box.

For this tutorial, you will create Web tags (callout bubbles) for every object in the Canadian Province layer.
Select all the objects in the layer by clicking the target symbol beside the layer name Canadian Province in the Canadian Province layer. Make sure that all the province polygon objects are highlighted.

Notice that the Multiple button in MAP Web Author panel is activated. This button is activated when more than one object is selected. Click the Multiple button and open the Multiple Web Tag Dialog box.

Next, apply the information from the attribute table in the following steps.

Select the By Attribute option to use the image path specified on the attribute table and type %IMAGE% in the textbox.Content:

Go to the <a href="%OfficialWeb%" target="_parent">government website</a>Click the Preview button to preview the Web tag for each province. Check the Auto Size option to size the Web tag to its contents. Click the Previous and Next buttons to cycle between province layers. Click the OK button to close the Multiple Web Tag Dialog dialog box.
Click OK to close the Multiple Web Tag Dialog dialog box.
