Format for printing

Minimum:

  • An Apple Macintosh or Macintosh compatible system with a PowerPC processor OR a Microsoft Windows based system with a Pentium II or equivalent processor
  • 128MB of RAM
  • Adobe Illustrator 7 or higher
  • CDROM Drive (for CD version)
  • 100MB of free hard drive space
  • 15" or larger colour monitor at 640x480 resolution

Recommended:

  • An Apple Macintosh or Macintosh compatible system with a G4 processor OR a Microsoft Windows based system with a Pentium III or equivalent processor
  • Adobe Illustrator 8.01 or higher
  • 256MB of RAM
  • MAPublisher version 3.5 or higher
  • CDROM Drive (for CD version)
  • 500MB of free hard drive space
  • 17" or larger colour monitor at 1024x768 resolution
* Note: Not all layers or feature types are available for all counties.

These files are NOT finished maps. They are PLAIN, Adobe Illustrator files consisting of black lines, polygons & points on a white 8.5x11 inch page in the orientation which is best for the extents of the particular coverage area. No cartography has been done to the layers, meaning that no colours, labels or other design work has been applied.
