Please read this page carefully before proceeding
A license file is required by all versions (including evaluations) of
MAPublisher (version 6.0
or higher) &
Geographic Imager, in order for the software to operate. Each license file is unique to a particular computer and will prevent unauthorized use of the software.
The forms on these pages are for users and evaluators who are unable to use the built-in Activation Wizard to activate their evaluation or purchased license of MAPublisher or Geographic Imager.
There are 4 scenarios for activation as follows. Please proceed according to the one that fits your situation.
1. New owners of MAPublisher or Geographic Imager who have not previously activated - continue to the form at the bottom of this page to register your new and previously non-activated license.
2. Evaluators of MAPublisher or Geographic Imager wishing to activate a 14 day trial - go to the
Product Evaluation Registration page.
3. Current owners of MAPublisher of Geographic Imager who have already registered and activated and need to retrieve a license file due to a reinstall (on the same computer) - use the License Retrieval page.
4. Users who have uninstalled and moved a MAPublisher or Geographic Imager license to a new computer - contact our Activation Department with your license number and new machine ID in order to have your license rehosted to the new computer.
In all cases you will receive your license file via email.
In order to obtain your license file for your purchased product, please
complete the form below. Your license file will be sent via email within a couple of minutes
along with instructions on how and where to
place that file on your computer. Please pay
careful attention when entering your email
address as the license file will be sent to
the address you enter in this form.
Note: Before completing this form please be
certain that you have currently installed your
Avenza product on the specific computer on
which you intend to use it. The Machine ID
entered below is unique to that computer and
as such the license file you receive will
allow operation of the software on that
computer ONLY. If you intend to use your
product on a different computer please
re-install on that computer and obtain the
Machine ID for that computer before
completing this form.
Please also ensure that all entries into the form below are made using standard North American or European character sets as opposed to wide-character Unicode sets.
