| This is a special note for all users of Macromedia FreeHand 10 and MAPublisher regarding MAPublisher compatibility with FreeHand 10. The newest full version of MAPublisher for FreeHand, version 5.0, is compatible with FreeHand 10 on the Windows platform and the Mac platform under Mac 9.x and OSX. MAPublisher 4.0 for FreeHand is also compatible with FreeHand 10 on the Windows platform and the Mac platform under Mac OS X with the appropriate update installed (see below). However due to the continually evolving nature of the Mac OS X operating system it is conceivable that some incompatibilities may exist as we strive to keep up with the latest OS code updates from Apple. As such it is recommended that MAPublisher users operating on OSX upgrade to MAPublisher 5.0. For specific information on Mac OS X compatibility please see our special MAPublisher/OS X info page. If you are a current MAPublisher 4.0 for FreeHand user and wish to update your MAPublisher Xtras to run in FreeHand 10 please choose the appropriate link below.
