The Tutorial Guides and Installation Instructions are in PDF format. To read PDFs you will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0.5 (6.6mb).

These are large files, according to our calculations downloading a 2.5mb Zipped or Stuffed file should take approximately:
•20 seconds with a cable/DSL modem
•9 minutes with a 56k baud modem
•18 minutes with a 28.8k baud modem

Adobe Illustrator 8.0.1 Update for Windows (2.4mb)

Avenza welcomes you to try our software free for ten days. You will need to have the appropriate host program (Adobe Illustrator or Macromedia Freehand) to use the software. Demo versions of these applications are also available.
MAPublisher 5.0 will not work with versions of Adobe Illustrator earlier than 10.0 and verisons of Macromedia FreeHand earlier than 10.0.
MAPublisher 4.0 for Adobe Illustrator will not function properly with Adobe Illustrator 8.0. The 8.01 update must be installed for MAPublisher 4.0 to work with Illustrator 8. See sidebar for link to Illustrator 8.0.1 Updaters.
If you do not own Illustrator or FreeHand, but are still interested in trying either of the MAPublisher demos, we encourage you to download the MAPublisher 5.0 demo and the Illustrator 10 or FreeHand MX demo.
If you are experiencing problems downloading the files from our FTP link, try the HTTP alternatives. Some large institutions and corporations block FTP traffic at their firewalls. Check with your IT Administrator for more details.
