Greetings. I’ve been using the Juniper Geode as an external GPS thru an android tablet. Getting my PDF maps from SarTopo. When running tests the tracks are consistently accurate with or without tree cover. The points however are way off, as much as 30 meters. and there’s now rhyme or reason, no patterns that would indicate conflicting datum systems (like WGS84 vs. NAD 27).

I have run my Garmin Astro 320 on the same course at the same time and when I import those data to SarTopo the tracks and points are dead on. The Garmin is operated independently, not as an external device feeding into Avenza.

I am not sure where to start with the trouble shooting – could it be something with the Avenza-Geode interaction?

Thanks Much
