KeymasterHi Matthew,
Thank you for your post! If you can please try running the installer through a Command Prompt window using the following steps:
Open a console window, navigate to the path of the installer and type:
Setup.exeThis will allow you to run the setup using the command window.
However, if that doesn’t work, could you also try a silent install:
Open a console window, navigate to the path of the installer and type:
Setup.exe /silentIf this still does not work, can you please send the installation log by doing the following command in the console window:
Navigate to the path of the installer and type:
Setup.exe /debuglog [output directory & filename].txt being sure to replace the output directory & filename components with a location and filename for the debug log.If you can please also confirm whether you have Illustrator installed in the default location or a custom location?
If you can please send this file to support@avenza.com we will be better able to get this addressed and hopefully get you up and running with MAPublisher 10.6 as fast as possible!
Thank you,
Kate

ModeratorHi There,
When it comes to Huawei, Xiaomi, and Oppo phones – please be aware that the following phones could have potential issues in certain regions in the world. Unfortunately, it is currently unknown all of the regions where issues can occur, however we have received information that some users within China, Australia, and South America have issues with the Avenza Maps app on those devices.
The reason for these issues is because Google Play Services cannot be used. The Avenza Maps app uses Google Play Services in the app, for the Avenza Map Store and other elements of the app as well. You will continue to be able to use other sections of the app. If you have more questions please reach out via https://support.avenzamaps.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Thank you,
Edgar
