I have Avenza 3.8.2 (free version, 3-map limit), running on Android. I have reached the 3 map limit and can find no way to delete older maps so I can have a new map become active. I deleted the maps from a downloads map folder that I created on my device, but they still appear when I open Avenza. Please explain how to delete active maps that I no longer need so I can view new maps.
Thank you for your post. To delete your custom imported maps from the Avenza Maps app please follow these steps:
– Open Avenza Maps
– Ensure you are on the My Maps tab
– Ensure you don’t have any filters applied, since you won’t be able to see all your maps
or, if you do have a filter applied, ensure it includes your Imported Maps
– Press and hold on one of the maps until it turns orange
– Once it turns orange, you have entered the “Edit” state, you can tap to select more maps
– On the top right corner, you can press the Trash can icon to delete the maps
If you are ever interested in purchasing a subscription to access unlimited maps, you can do so by following these steps:
– Open Avenza Maps
– Go to Settings
– Upgrade Account
However, if you are working for a company or are using the app for any type of work purposes, then you need to be licensed under Pro. If you are interested in discount pricing for 3 or more licenses you can contact our sales team at email@example.com. Additionally, if you are a non-for profit or work for an academic institution, you can potentially receive discount pricing as well.
Let me know if you are able to delete your maps or if you are still experiencing issues.
Adobe released an update to Illustrator 2021 (v25.3) that includes native support for M1 Devices and Rotate Artboard functionality. Please note these features are not yet supported within MAPublisher at this time. See compatibility notes.
