ParticipantWhile it’s great that one can import KML/KMZ files into your iOS app, this is fairly impractical given the prevalence of GPX files for waypoint, route and track files, and the awkwardness of having to use a 3rd party tool to convert file formats to then import into your app. I’d assume it would be a very simple feature to implement.

KeymasterWe are currently working on the ability to import GPX files in a release later this year (towards the end of the year). Please keep a look out!

ParticipantHopefully this is still in the works. All of my races use GPX to share race courses.
Cheers,

ParticipantIsn’t it about time that GPX Imports are provided ? KML is a Thing of the past ! The import should also be made available in a user friednly manner, i.e. one or two clicks, then prompt for file – and that’s it

ParticipantIt is ridiculous to ask for money for the gpx import, as this is already provided by so many map softwares !

MemberHello,
Thank you for your post, you are correct, we do support GPX import, however, you do need to be a Plus subscriber to import GPX. You are able to export to GPX for free though. KML is free to import and export.
If you don’t want to become a Plus subscriber to use GPX, I would suggest that you use KML. KML is widely used and is used by Google Earth.

ParticipantThis is really disappointing. Plus membership is quite expensive (AUD$42.99 per year) just for a single feature that is standard in just about every mapping program. Especially since I have bought hundreds of dollars of maps through the Avenza Maps app, thus locking me in to this all, and with the belief that the feature was to be added.
