Hi, I’ve just started to use map collections. I noticed that as the blue location symbol tracks my progress and comes to the end of one map it continues to track you but the second map adjoining does not come into view and display your position. I have to manually swipe the second map to show where I am. The problem is when I’m driving on a very boggy 4wd track I don’t really have time to stop. You can’t really take your eyes off the track. This is a real life example. By default I would have thought the app would automatically do this. To me this is common sense.
Am I doing something wrong in the set up????
If not can we request to have this feature implemented?
Thank you for post. When you are looking at your location in your Map Collection, is the GPS/Compass follow option on? If you are on an Android, at the top toolbar, to the left of the Add Placemark tool, there is a compass/GPS button (on iOS, bottom toolbar beside Add Placemark). Tap that to turn that on the ‘Follow me’ option, which will allow your GPS to follow your location.
Are your maps far apart in the collection? If they do not line up side to side or overlap slightly and there is a gap between the maps, that could be why it is not automatically following your location.
Once the GPS/Compass is turned on to ‘Follow me’ (the circle on Android will be full, on iOS the arrow will be coloured in), the app will follow your location.
If none of the above solves your issue, please send an email to email@example.com with the titles of the maps, as well as specifics about your device (make, model, app version).
