Hi, I’ve got a map of trees of varying species and sizes. I’ve set up a map theme using different symbols to represent the different species on site. I’d like to size each symbol based on the trees estimated spread. Is there a way to show a species symbol (using species name) that is sized based on the spread (integer value)?
Thank you for your post. There is no direct way to size symbols based off another attribute, such as estimated spread, however, you can use the ‘Set Scale’ option in the Edit Map Themes dialog to adjust the sizing for each symbol/species. If you would like more help with this, please let me know, or reach out to us via help.avenza.com and I would be happy to go into further detail and see if we can make this option work for your data!
Adobe released an update to Illustrator 2021 (v25.3) that includes native support for M1 Devices and Rotate Artboard functionality. Please note these features are not yet supported within MAPublisher at this time. See compatibility notes.
