I am trying to join a spreadsheet (have tried csv, xls etc formats) which has a latitude column in decimal degrees and a longitude column also in decimal degrees along with several other columns of data to the attributes of a layer in a mapub file. The join works, but the lat and long data show as 0.000 – all data is lost. All of the other columns are ok. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Cynthia,

Thank you for your post. In order to better help you with this, you will need to contact our Support team directly and provide the files (AI and the spreadsheet you are trying to attach). It’s possible that the coordinates in the spreadsheet are not the same coordinates that you have in the document (e.g. lat/long in the spreadsheet, but UTM in the AI document). If you can reach out to us via help.avenza.com and provide those files we can take a better look.

    Thank you,

    Kate
