MAPublisher FME Auto Redistributables

Normally, MAPublisher would use an existing, compatible, and licensed FME Desktop™ installation to provide extended FME™ functionality such FME FFS file format import and MAPublisher FME-Auto support. In some cases, such installation may not exist on the machine, for example when:

  • using Adobe Illustrator 64-bit on a machine where only a 32-bit FME Desktop is installed.
  • using Adobe Illustrator 32-bit on a machine where only a 64-bit FME Desktop is installed.
  • opening a remotely created FFS file on a machine with an older version of FME Desktop or without one at all.

 

For these instances, a stand-alone free FME redistributable can be installed, providing the required FME connectivity. Download the installation instructions and appropriate redistributable for the version of Adobe Illustrator and MAPublisher that you’re using.
